NAMM 2020 News – Electro-Voice release the EVOLVE 30M Portable Column System

Electro-Voice has recently released the EVOLVE 30M Portable Column System at the 2020 NAMM show. Building on the success of the EVOLVE 50. The 30M has been designed to enhance the overall performance for a column system in its size and price bracket. By equipping it with the most complete feature set in its class that includes an 8x channel digital mixer, onboard effects and remote control of all audio, effects and mix functions via the Electro-Voice QuickSmart Mobile application.


This incredible feature set makes the EVOLVE 30M a perfect option and PA solution for solo musicians, mobile entertainers, small groups and venues. The 30M is lightweight, highly portable and can be packed compactly into carry-bags to be easily transported between venues and shows. With professional-grade EV engineered components and being constructed from durable composite materials, the 30M will withstand any wear and tear the world has to offer.

Huge Sound

The 30M is a full range column array that features 6x 2.8” neodymium drivers that will provide an ultra-wide 120 degrees of coverage via custom-designed waveguides. And with the vertical array formed at 40 degrees asymmetrical, coverage is guaranteed to both sitting and standing audiences. The Class-D amplifier provides up 1000 W of output power with 500 W going to sub and the remaining 500 W going to the column array.

Easy to use

The 30M is incredibly easy to use. EVs industry-leading QuickSmart DSP interface allows for intuitive navigation of all the systems parameters via a single knob control for the LCD screen. Additionally, the Electro-Voice QuickSmart Mobile App allows for complete and extended control over mixing and monitoring overall parameters/system functions. Perfect for solo musicians and entertainers to take control of their sound via their smartphone or tablet.
